In-store logistics

This term is used to describe the internal replenishment of shop shelves with goods already on the premises, typically in a back-storeroom area. It is often on the last 50 metres to the shelf that the retail supply chain fails and, as a result of poor in-store practices, goods are unavailable to consumers and sales are needlessly lost.
