Supply Chain Collaboration: a Decarbonisation Gamechanger
A short review of efforts to promote collaboration across supply chains which has been shown to reduce carbon emissions. It distinguishes vertical from horizontal forms of collaboration noting that the latter is still relatively uncommon despite its potential to decarbonise supply chains. The article examines the various ways in which this potential can be realised and the factors typically constraining them. It concludes that much higher levels of collaboration ‘may be imperative in the pursuit of net zero supply chains.‘
