Seminar on Container Shipping in a Climate-stressed World

I participated in full-day seminar on scenarios of ‘container shipping in a climate-stressed world’ in 2035. This was organised by KLU Professor Johannes Meuer for a combined group of students from KLU’s Executive Program on Sustainable Manage and Operations (SuMO) course and its Masters course in Sustainable Logistics. I had the pleasure of joining four external experts in an lively mix of presentations, breakout discussions and debates on the future impact of climate change and decarbonisation on maritime transport: Pietro D’Arpa (formerly of P&G), Sophie Drakopoulos (Smart Freight Centre), Raija Koch (Nabu) and Otto Schacht (formerly of Kuehne+Nagel).
