I had the pleasure of joining a group of logistics and supply chain professionals at the start of KLU’s ENLOP 2025 programme for a day of stimulating discussions on the future of global supply chains.  With supply chains very much in the news at present, this introductory session was certainly very topical.  To provoke discussion of possible longer-term trends, I constructed a rather gloomy 2035 scenario in which climate change and geopolitics interact to greatly complicate the future management of supply chains.  This is a work of fiction, though is a possible extrapolation of recent trends, admittedly in a very negative direction.  You can download a copy:
