The ENLOP group of logistics manager attended a two day workshop in Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University.  This linked the two universities in which have spent most of my working life as an academic, Heriot-Watt and KLU.  

My main contribution to the Heriot-Watt session was in providing an overview of Logistics in the UK.  Having conducted research on many different aspects of UK Logistics over almost 50 years, I tried to encapsulate in a single presentation what I regard as some of its critical features, trends and issues.  It can be downloaded here.

The programme included a visit to the UK’s National Robotarium which is located on the Heriot-Watt University campus.

The singer Joyce Byrne and I also injected some culture into the programme with a selection of music from across the British Isles.
