Two days after receiving an Honorary Doctorate from Tampere University I gave a guest lecture at the University’s Hervanta campus, where its Transport Research Centre Verne is based. This Centre, established and directed by Professor Heikki Liimatainen, undertakes research projects on a range of transport and logistics topics mostly related to sustainability.  I welcomed the opportunity to give a guest lecture on ‘Climate Logistics: a reappraisal of logistics’ role in the climate crisis’ and to discuss the issues raised with faculty and students.
