Commemorative piano jazz medley

To mark the 100th anniversary of my father’s birth I recorded a medley of jazz piano pieces that he enjoyed.  Although he didn’t play an instrument himself, he had a deep love of jazz music and was very keen that his sons receive piano lessons.  Sending me to piano  lessons from the age of eight was among my parent’s  greatest gifts to me.  This little medley combines famous tunes by Errol Gardner (Misty), Dave Brubeck (Take Five), George Shearing (Lullaby in Birdland), Oscar Peterson (Laurentide Waltz), Bill Evans (Waltz for Debbie), Theolonius Monk (Round Midnight) and Duke Ellington / Billy Strayhorn (Take the A Train)
