Alan McKinnon – Professor of Logistics

26 September 2025

Guest lecture at the Catholic University of Milan

I was invited to deliver a guest lecture at the Piacenza campus of the Catholic University of Milan (officially the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Milano) on climate logistics, decarbonisation and resilience.  This is one of five  universities across Europe that participated in the EU-funded LOGMASTER Project.  Between 2022 and 2025 these universities (in Austria, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Romania) developed and implemented a common MSc-level curriculum on logistics with the support of the European Logistics Association. My lecture was considered to ‘fit well’ with the sustainability content of this new curriculum.
