I was a speaker at the first Gruber Logistics Innovation Summit held in Bolzano in South Tyrol.  The event comprised a mix of presentations and breakout discussions on a range of topical logistics issues such a modal shift, AI applications and the road freight energy transition.  There were also excellent opportunities for networking across the broad mix of businesses and specialisms represented at the event.  For me, the only downside was having the fire alarm go off mid-way through my presentation.  I joked afterwards that the rather negative tone of some of my presentation on climate logistics may have triggered a sensor somewhere in the building!
