International Conference on Production Research
I gave the first in a series of Kuehne Foundation lectures at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota on the 16 July 2018. The lecture, on the decarbonisation of logistics, was followed by a Roundtable which discussed the particular challenges of cutting carbon emissions from logistics in Colombia.
The following morning in a keynote address to the International Conference on Production Research ( Americas) 2018 I argued that climate change was likely to become the greatest challenge facing logistics and supply chain managers. This adopted both mitigation and adaptation perspectives on the subject.
