En Route to COP26

The Transport Decarbonisation Alliance and the SLOCAT Partnership have organised a ‘high-level event to drive action for zero-emission transport’ in preparation for the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow in November 2021.  There was a session on Freight Transport Decarbonisation on the morning of the 2 December at which I provided a quick overview of the subject. It highlighted the major challenges to be overcome in getting freight onto a net-zero pathway and the need to prioritise short / medium term demand managent measures.
