Incentivising small road hauliers to decarbonise their operations
KLU and Smart Freight Centre have published a report examining the challenges in getting Europe’s half a million small trucking companies to cut their carbon emissions. It is based on research by Moritz Toelke, which I had the pleasure of supervising, and uses data on over 800 carriers provided by online transport management platform, Transporeon. Sheds new light on the attitudes, requirements and expectations of this key sector of the European road freight market.
