Net Zero Logistics - handle with care
In the second of a regular series of columns in Logistics Manager magazine I discuss the concept of Net Zero Logistics, noting that ‘we will soon have to recover large quantities of CO2 from the atmosphere to get our carbon budget back into credit’. What might this mean for logistics and is there a risk that the future sequestration of greenhouse gases already in the atmosphere may be seen as easing the pressure on companies to cut their logistics emission sharply and rapidly.
