Heroes of the Road

 

In the third of a regular series of columns in Logistics Manager magazine, I discuss the lorry driver shortage which has reached a critical level in the UK. I explain that this is neither a new problem nor one confined to the UK.  Given our overwhelming dependence on road freight transport, there are fundamental labour problems here that need to be corrected.
