Alan McKinnon – Professor of Logistics

25 August 2021

Net Zero Logistics presentation to Swedish conference

In a keynote address to the annual Swedish TREFF (Transport Efficiency Day) conference on the 25th August 2021 I discussed what ‘net zero’ emission commitments actually mean for the logistics sector.  I examined the carbon mitigation and sequestration sides of ‘net zero logistics’  and classified future logistics activities into three categories: carbon negative, carbon neutral and carbon positive.  Following my online presentation I had a conversation about the subject with Professor Mike Browne of the University of Gothenburg and answered questions from the audience.

Copy of the presentation:  Net Zero Logistics: what does it mean and how can it be achieved?
