Interview about UK government's Decarbonising Transport plan
I was interviewed by the editor Logistics Magazine, Matt Harrington, about the freight content of the UK Government’s Decarbonising Transport plan published in July 2021. The article summarising the interview has been published in a supplement to the Magazine. I am rather critical of the plan, arguing that, as far as freight and logistics is concerned, it lacks a sense of urgency, fails to build on 20 years of UK work on sustainable logistics and overlooks many important and cost-effective ways of cutting emissions from the freight sector.
