2nd United Nations Sustainable Transport Conference, Beijing

I was one of the speakers in a thematic session on policy initiatives at the United Nation’s 2nd Sustainable Transport Conference in Beijing on the 16 October. This was a hybrid event with most of the contributions, including my own, via Zoom. In my intervention I focused on policy issues related to the decarbonisation of freight transport, emphasising the need for greater emphasis on short term measures targeted on the management of logistics and taking advantage of digitalisation and supply chain collaboration.
