Personal Carbon Allowances - Logistics Manager column
In my column in the January 2022 issue of Logistics Manager magazine I discuss the proposal that, in an effort to cut CO2 emissions from consumption, everyone be given an annual Personal Carbon Allowance (PCA). This would require the carbon footprinting of all products on an end-to-end supply chain basis. Is this feasible and would it not be better to use carbon pricing to avoid the need for carbon labelling and personal carbon accounting?
