Taxing trucks in a post-diesel future

Last month a UK Parliamentary report suggested that the electrification of road vehicles will require a new system of road pricing to replace fuel taxation.  Surprisingly it didn’t make any reference to freight vehicles.  I try to rectify this omission, in a small way, by using my column in this month’s Logistics Manager magazine to discuss the implications of the forthcoming transformation of transport taxation for trucks.
